Changing the directory colours

  • Click on Directories → [Directory name]
  • In the Look & Feel tab, scroll to Directory colours
  • Click on a colour to change it for that part of the directory
  • To change the colour format, click on RGB to cycle through the other options, which are HSL and hex (for example #fefefe)  

Changing the profile image shape

By default, profile images are round, but you can change this.

  • Click on Directories → [Directory name] → Design
  • Click on Listing
  • Choose the desired shape from the dropdown menu next to where it says "Profile pictures are"
  • Fitted means it will show the full image without cropping it, this is ideal for logos

Changing the default profile picture

You can change the image that displays on profiles where the member hasn't added their own image.

  • Click on Directories → [Directory name]
  • In the Look & Feel tab, scroll to Default profile picture and click Change
  • Upload your default profile picture

You can change the image that displays on profile forms with an image upload field.

  • Click on Directories → [Directory name]
  • In the Look & Feel tab, scroll to Default upload-picture image and click Change

Using a custom font

If you want your directory to match your brand, you can set a custom font.

Going beyond the basics with CSS

If you want to create a more bespoke design than Community Box currently offers, you can use small design code snippets called CSS to change the appearance of your directory. We've put together a list of the most common CSS customisations used by our customers.
