Embedding your directory onto your website
Adding your Community Box directory to your website is quick and easy. Simply copy and paste your embed code into your website, and your directory will appear on the page.
Community Box works with most website builders. However, it is not compatible with platforms that only support embedding content via an iframe.

Watch our tutorial to see how to embed your directory into your website. In this example, we use Squarespace, but the process is similar for most website platforms.
Before you begin, we recommend adding at least one profile to your directory so you can see how it will look once embedded.
How to embed your directory
- Log in to your Community Box dashboard.
- Select Directories and choose the directory you'd like to embed.
- Open the Look & Feel tab.
- Locate the Preview & Embed Your Directory section.
- Click the link to open the Preview & Embed page.
- In the Embed section, select your website platform from the dropdown menu.
- Follow the platform-specific instructions provided.
- Copy the embed code and add it to the page on your website where you'd like the directory to appear.
Once published, your directory will be live on your website and ready for visitors to explore.
Before you go live
We recommend checking that:
- Your directory contains at least one profile.
- Your directory design and branding are set up as you'd like them.
- Any search and filter settings have been configured.
- The directory displays correctly on both desktop and mobile devices.
