Previewing your directory
In the next step, you’ll embed your directory onto your own website. But whilst you're setting things up, it can be helpful to use our quick preview tool to see how everything works.
❗ If you haven't already added at least one example profile to your directory, we recommend doing that first.
- Click on Directories → [Directory name]
- In the Look & Feel tab at the top you will see a white box with the heading Preview & embed your directory
- Click on the link in that box to go to the Preview & Embed page
- Scroll down to the second white box with the heading Preview
- Click on the Go to preview button
This preview will show you approximately what your directory will look like when it's embedded on your website.
Note: If you are planning to use a custom font to match your brand, we cannot display that in the preview. You will need to embed your directory on your website in order for the custom font to load.
💡 The preview tab can be helpful if you don't yet have a website, but when making design changes (especially with colours) we suggest embedding the directory first so you can see how it looks on your actual website.
