How moderation works

If you want to approve a new profile before it's published on the live directory, you can enable moderation.

• In the Look & Feel tab, scroll down to Moderation and signup
• Check the box next to Moderate user-submitted profiles

The admin will receive an email with a notification that a profile is awaiting moderation. You can view and approve profiles in the Profiles tab of the directory.

• To view a profile, click on the profile name
• To approve a profile, check the box next to the profile name and click Approve button at the top
• You can approve multiple profiles at once

Current limitations

• Profile owners do not currently receive a notification when their profile is approved; they will need to manually search the directory to see if their profile has been published
• Admins do not currently receive a notification when changes are made to a profile that has already been approved

We know that these are popular feature requests and are looking into the best way to implement the functionality.
