What is Zapier?

Zapier is a platform that allows you to connect Community Box to thousands of other online applications such as Google Sheets, Typeform, MailChimp, Thinkific and many more.

For example, if someone fills in a TypeForm form then their profile data can be automatically added to a Community Box directory.

Or, if someone adds a new profile directly to Community Box, you can get that profile's information automatically stored in a spreadsheet or trigger a welcome email to be sent to them.

How do I use Zapier with Community Box?

  1. Sign up for Zapier

The first step is to sign up for a Zapier account if you don't already have one.

  1. Install Community Box on Zapier

Next, you'll need to install Community Box on Zapier. Open the Zapier Integration Page in the Community Box dashboard, and scroll down to the Installation Link card:

Follow the link to install Community Box on your Zapier account.

  1. Authenticate Community Box to Zapier

Once you set up your first Zap, you will be asked by Zapier to authenticate Community Box with Zapier. The authentication screen will look similar to the following screenshot:

To get the "Account" and "Api Key" values, return to the Zapier Integration page in the Community Box dashboard. From here you can obtain the two key values you need to authenticate Community Box with Zapier:
